Eligibility Requirements
Koita Center for Digital Health, IIT-Bombay (KCDH) and Johns Hopkins University
Only one proposal per Principal Investigator (JHU + Koita Center for Digital Health (Ashoka University & IIT Bombay) is permitted for the breakthrough grants program
Principal Investigators (PIs):
- Each proposal must have one PI from Johns Hopkins University and one PI from Koita Center for Digital Health (Ashoka University & IIT Bombay).
- PIs must hold a faculty position (assistant professor or equivalent and above) at their respective institutions.
- Junior faculty and early-career investigators are especially encouraged to apply.
Co-Investigators and Collaborators:
- Teams may include co-investigators, postdoctoral fellows, research staff, and students from JHU and Koita Center for Digital Health (Ashoka University & IIT Bombay).
- Inclusion of trainees (masters, doctoral, or postdoctoral level) is strongly encouraged to promote capacity-building.
Institutional Endorsement:
- Proposals must have documented support from the respective departments or centers of both JHU and Koita Center for Digital Health (Ashoka University & IIT Bombay), as well as any other participating institution, government or non-government.
