Gupta-Klinsky India Institute - JHU India Student Engagement Grant
Overview
The GKII JHU India Student Engagement Grant supports student-led initiatives that advance understanding and collaboration between the U.S. and India in the areas of policy, research, education, and practice. This competitive grant awards up to $2,500 to student organizations that demonstrate leadership and innovation in organizing impactful engagement activities.
Eligibility
- Open to all recognized student groups across Johns Hopkins University.
- Activities must occur within the current academic year.
- Proposals must align with GKII’s mission and priorities.
- Student organizations must have an existing Cost Center/IO to which funds can be transferred.
Eligible activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Conferences or symposia
- Webinar or speaker series
- Experiential learning trips (e.g., visits to institutions, embassies, or cultural sites)
- Collaborative research or educational projects
Ineligible activities:
- Social events
- Activities unrelated to JHU and India
- Activities that do not comply with university policies
