Maureen Sherry

Maureen Sherry was born in New York City.  She graduated from both Cornell and Columbia Universities and worked on Wall Street for twelve years, retiring as a managing director.  She is an active board member of numerous local and international charities and projects. Maureen tutors at inner city schools and writes fictional stories for middle school students that are based on little known facts. Walls Within Walls, her first book, has been awarded curriculum prizes by the states of Texas and Connecticut, and she was named one of the Best New Voices by the American Library Association. She also wrote Opening Belle as her first adult novel.
